Invisalign in Bangkok from THB 54,000 at La Posh Dental Clinic
In short: Invisalign uses a series of custom removable clear aligners designed from a 3D scan of your teeth. At La Posh Dental Clinic, prices start at THB 54,000 (1 arch) or THB 63,000 (2 arches) with Invisalign i7 for minor crowding, which takes about 3.5 months on average. More complex cases take longer and cost more. Aligners must be worn 20–22 hours a day.

How Invisalign works

The dentist scans your teeth in 3D and creates a digital plan showing how each tooth will move. You review the plan on screen before the aligners are made. Each set moves the teeth a little, and you change sets on a schedule. Small tooth-coloured attachments may be added to help the aligners grip. Orthodontic work is led by Dr. Lalita Rutchakitprakarn, orthodontist (license ท.9453), MSc in Orthodontics from National Yang-Ming University (Taiwan).

Wearing and caring for aligners

  • Wear aligners 20–22 hours a day; remove them only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush
  • Brush your teeth before putting aligners back in
  • Clean aligners with cool water – heat can warp them
  • Keep them in their case whenever they are out of your mouth

What makes Invisalign different from other clear aligners?

  • Precise 3D planning: your teeth are scanned with an iTero 3D scanner and planned in ClinCheck software, so the dentist can see how each tooth will move before treatment starts. The aligners are made to fit that plan closely.
  • Attachments: small tooth-coloured bumps bonded to some teeth add grip and help control the direction of movement, similar to the job elastics do with metal braces, but far less noticeable.
  • Price vs result: Invisalign usually costs more than other clear aligners, but the scanning, fit and planning are designed to make the result follow the plan.

Pros and limits compared with braces

AdvantagesLimits to consider
Removable for eating and brushingMust be worn at least 20–22 hours a day, or results may not follow the plan
Almost invisibleNot suitable for every case; very severe crowding or complex bite problems may need fixed braces
Less irritation to cheeks and gums, as there are no wiresCosts more than standard metal braces
Normal brushing and flossing, which lowers the risk of decay and tartarSpeech may feel slightly different for the first few days

How long does treatment take?

  • Mild to moderate crowding or gaps: about 6 months to 1.5 years
  • Moderate to complex problems, including bite correction: about 1.5 to 2 years
  • Very complex cases or jaw problems: may not suit Invisalign, or take longer; the dentist will recommend the best option

Check-ups are usually every 6–8 weeks to review progress and collect your next aligners.

Frequently asked questions

How many hours a day should I wear Invisalign?

For the best result, wear your aligners at least 20–22 hours a day. Remove them only to eat, brush your teeth and clean the aligners.

How much does Invisalign cost in Bangkok at La Posh?

From THB 54,000 (1 arch) or THB 63,000 (2 arches) for i7. Larger packages range up to THB 219,000. The scan and X-rays (THB 4,900) are separate.

Does Invisalign affect speech?

You may have a slight lisp at first while your tongue adjusts. This usually goes away within a few days.

Do clear aligners hurt?

You may feel tightness or mild discomfort when starting a new set. This usually settles within 2–3 days.

What if I lose or break an aligner?

Contact the clinic right away so a dentist can assess it and consider ordering a new set. Keep your aligners in their case whenever you take them out.

Do I need a retainer afterwards?

Yes. A retainer helps stop teeth moving back. Follow your dentist’s advice, especially in the first year.

How is Invisalign different from other clear aligner brands?

Invisalign plans tooth movement in 3D with ClinCheck software and uses iTero scanning and attachments to help control movement, so the dentist can design treatment precisely and you can preview the plan.

Invisalign or Damon braces: which is better?

It depends on your teeth and lifestyle. Invisalign is removable and almost invisible but needs discipline to wear 20–22 hours a day. Damon braces are fixed, so they work without relying on wear time. The dentist will advise after an examination.

How often do I need to see the dentist?

Usually every 6–8 weeks to check progress and receive your next aligners.

Can I drink tea or coffee or snack with aligners in?

Remove the aligners before eating or drinking anything other than water. Brush your teeth and clean the aligners before putting them back.

How long does Invisalign take?

About 6 months to 1.5 years for mild to moderate cases, and about 1.5 to 2 years for moderate to complex cases. Very complex cases may need a different option.
