What Airflow does – and does not do
Airflow removes stains and plaque from the surface of the teeth, so teeth look brighter and cleaner. It does not change the natural colour inside the tooth – for that, see teeth whitening or a home whitening kit. Hard tartar is removed by scaling.

Aftercare
- Avoid strongly coloured food and drinks such as tea, coffee, soft drinks and red wine for the first 24 hours
- Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
- Rinse with water after coffee or tea
- Use floss or interdental brushes and mouthwash
- See the dentist every 6 months
- Contact the dentist if you have sensitivity, bleeding or gum pain
